PANAMERA is the Susan Boyle of the automotive industry!

I hated everything about it... From its bulging eyes, to its gynormous ass it was a mistake! It's obvious that no designers were ever involved in its development....

Two months and 4000 miles later, it's still ugly! but can it sing?...(big grin). The car redefines all laws of physics. In my humble opinion , no four door sedan can cover Mullholland from Coldwater to 101 faster than this bastard, as a matter of fact very few super-cars can keep up with it! At a push of a button (Sport Plus) it sheds half its weight and performs like a modern Cayman S... Last weekend I took it for a little ride with some Mullhollan pros...My beliefs were proven!

I think a little bit of arrogance was used when they designed it. The car is like the rock star that's bigger than life and can wear the most ridiculous outfit anywhere and still be the $#!&....It's like Mick Jagger in a Ballerina outfit...or Susan Boyle of the automotive world.....just sain'

This is the reaction the Panamera got from the Pelicans that I gave a ride to..

Sounds like a great car.

I'll go on record and say that I actually like they looks of the car.
I saw one in the flesh the other day... Hubba Hubba. What a machine!
The camera doesn't seem to like the car.

A guy that looked like Mr Burns was at the wheel. I couldn't help but laugh...

Seriously... When you look at your options at that end of the market the Panamera starts to look very attractive.

After decades of BMWs and Mercs that look pretty bland and ordinary at least you have something more interesting to consider.

Lets hope it's well built and reliable.

So far so good. The PDK is flawless! Igave someone a ride today and she reminded me that it has been a recall on the seatbelts. I suggested to be on the safe side and not use them!

don't bother! ...it's a joke. we still used them.

I am sure that all you say is true.

But, I was shocked at the size of it. Its height. How massive it seems in the
rear quarter panel area (how big its ass is). It is not good looking. The new Malibu is better looking.

AND, this is not what Porsche was about. And neither was the truck.

I think that Dr. Porsche would have preferred a car more like the Lotus with his name on it.

I think this is absolutely what Porsche is about. Take the norms and stretch them to the limit. Whether it be a 4x4, coupe, four door sedan, 6cyl, V8 or 4 banger.

I wish that it looked better but no one disputes that it drives like a MFer. Porsche builds the best-driving and performing cars in the world.

By "designers" I expect that you mean "automotive stylists." (as opposed to Mechanical or electrical designers)

...and by "automotive stylists" I mean fantasy cartoon sketchers.

btw, nice write-up.

what you refer to as"mechanical or electrical designers" have an engineering degree therefore they are engineers

what you refer to as "automotive stylists" have an automotive/industrial design degree therefore they are designers

So then, you believe that engineers don't design?

Seriously, what's with this push to relabel styling as 'design'?
