Spoon guys who buy online

Picking up a new carry spoon this month.

Found a monster deal at budsgunshop.com.

NIB and ~$100 off local retail even with FFL transfer fee included.

So the old adage, if it's too good to be true.... is tickling my gut.

Did a little research, some complaints and some good.

One guy who claims to have spent $30k with them and they deleted his account due to his negative review of a $19 item. Little skeptical about that one.

Just don't want to deal with the MM of online dealers.

Anyone familiar and or have 1st hand experience with buds?

Thx

""Motor Meister"?"

Not my native tongue. Can you elaborate?

K, maybe the MM reference was not a good idea.

I may have inadvertently hi-jacked my own thread.

Please resist.

Motor Meister is the universal term for a company which makes big promises, has a great hand shake . . . and then proceeds to bend the client over without the benefit of lubricant.

I've never dealt with the site you've listed, so I'll shutup now before this gets out of hand.

no experience buying online but I have a cop buddy in OKC, I just call him up & tell him what I want and he brings it to me with officers discount... lot cheaper than I can buy it (that way I don't have to go through the MM experience)

My SS friend offered up his discount as well but I'm weird about imposing.

Bud's is a huge dealer that sells a lot on Gunbroker and GunAmerica. They are legit. Never heard a bad thing about them.

I'd say Gunbroker. So long as you're not purchasing from the Liberty-deprived states you should be fairly open in purchase options.

Ah, you're in Texas. Lots of good deals to be had. Just remember it may be required to ship to an FFL depending on your state's laws.

I have bought a gun and some other stuff from Budsgunshop.com. No problems whatsoever. They were very prompt and already had my small time FFL dealer in their system. Their prices are typically about the best you will find on new guns.
I highly recommend them.

I always check them first when contemplating buying a gun from local shops.... They always beat Gander and usually beat Bass Pro. My FFL charges $20 to receive them.

My local Bass Pro is $130 higher. Using them for the transfer @$30 so save $100. Have not gotten over to check Cabellas since it's a bit out of the way.

They have too many unresolved complaints for me to ever buy from them.
