Phx, Az people: anyone ever eat at Pizzeria Bianco?
i think i asked before. i have yet to eat there. 911freak's post got me thinking. everytime i drive nearby, i call them. i have heard, "the wait is currently 4-hours".
WTF? i keep driving. 4 hours was the longest time i have heard. i have tried maybe 3-4 times. doing it mid-roadtrip isnt working out. i was wearing full camo hunting clothing the last time, and was willing to run any possible tree-hugger gauntlets. does the place kick butt, or does phoenix have krappy pizza? what is the story? the joint gets ranked top 10 in every publication's mention of top pizza places. #1 in gourmet magazine. #3 in Savuer. what gives?

Well Vash,
Frommers might like it, but the people of Phoenix seem to hate it. Pizzeria Bianco - Phoenix, AZ, 85004 - Citysearch With reviews like this, there is no way that I will ever be going there.

If you really like a traditional style pizza you should go check it out at least once. Just go mid week and get there early.

It is supposed to be the best. I can't wait 4 hours for pizza. Many friends say it isn't hype.
This is the best I have tried. Diners Drive in and Dives liked it also. La Piazza Al Sorno 5803 W Glendale Ave Glendale, AZ 85301

I've heard all about it and I will never ever go there. I know plenty of excellent pizza places here that have no wait. I don't understand the whole waiting thing. I just won't do it. Pizza is not a rarity and you can get it anywhere. Try Grimaldi's or NYPD in this area. They are fantastic and there's only a slight wait on some nights, never more than 20-30 min.
