F'ing people.......hit and run.....

A good friend of mine was the victim of a hit and run last night, he and a friend were walking and some guy ran him over, he is currently in surgery for a broken tib and femur I believe.....don't have too many details other than there are no head injuries.....
His friends who were with him chased the guy who was driving the car down and the cops nabbed him luckily.......
I'll post more when I hear it......but what a **** sandwich, people are f'ing dumb......
get better blakewood.....

Apperantly the car was actually a box truck.......

Pure speculation but speaking from the point of view of someone who used to live in FL, I'd be willing to bet that the perp was drunk, probably with a few priors, and didn't want to get busted. There are an awful lot of unskilled, uneducated, low-rent, low-life dirtbags in FL (as you probably know). I heard this kind of story all too often when I lived down there years ago.

Really sorry to hear about your friend. I hope he recovers, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for getting justice.

I've been whacked in a hit and run twice, it sucks. Completely sucks.

Just to clarify this happened in cuyahoga falls ohio......
He's ok is what I'm being told, they are currently installing a rod in his tibula, I think that is the only major damage.......painfull but he should fully recover....

Thanks for the words, this is a good kid who regularly blows things up, and does some silly stuff......just wierd he didn't do this to himself I guess LOL

That's where our (FL) "unskilled, uneducated, low-rent, low-life dirt-bags" come from (and NY, NJ, NC, SC, GA, AL, AR, Haiti, Cuba, DR, etc., etc.).

That is terrible. Glad they did catch the driver.

Really sorry to hear about this accident. I wish your friend well.

On the flip-side, in some towns people actually aim to hit nice cars for a settlement. You know just a quick jump onto the hood of a GL63 or M6.

I don't disagree. I figured this had happened in FL, but to your point, yes a lot of the FL dirtbags are transplants. The place is a magnet for them for some reason... It's an entire subculture down there.

Ever watch the old reruns of "Cops"? Awful lot of FL episodes were done. Not by accident either.

What a dirtbag.

Not to be excessively happy about a bad situation, but the good news is that your friend is still alive, and that they caught the driver.

That's how it always happens. I do all sorts of crazy crap and every time I get seriously hurt, it's always from something stupid or someone elses actions.
I was the victim of a hit and run on my motorcycle a few years back. I was riding with two friends, one stopped when I got hit, the other chased the bastard down. The cops didn't do anything to him, but he got what was coming to him a few times over.

Could be worse....getting H/R in a foreign country like Mexico. Glad he got quick medical attention and is in recovery.
