Don't you hate it when the neighbors dog wakes you up at 5am
 

F'ing people and their barking dogs. Who lets their dogs out at 5am anyway.

I live in the city. Downtown. Noise happens all the time. We have a fire station a few blocks down the street. We have cops' sirens. We have cabbies that use their horns to communicate with each other. Garbage trucks racing around starting about 5AM. I sleep through it all. I would probably lay awake all night if there wasn't any noise outside. It would be too eerie.

it is a necessary evil. my neighbor own "jessie", the loudest most obnoxious, and territorial mini schnauzer. anyone steps into our cul-de-sac gets a rapid machine gun fire barking. she went off a few months ago, at 3:00 am. i woke up, took a leak and peeked outside. there was someone standing on the driveway across the street. i lit his ass up with my brightest flashlight and he sprinted away. probably not the smartest, giving up my position like that..but i couldnt resist.

i gave jessie a milkbone.

Mini Schnauzers are hellacious watch dogs. Their hearing is amazing and their bark is really loud for such a small dog.

funny how this should come up today. i had a neighbor in the next building that has a yappy dog. he would put this poor critter out in the back yard for twenty to forty minutes while he got ready to leave for the third shift as a casino dealer at one thirty in the morning. i should also mention that he owns the building, a frame structure with two apartments, one up and one down. once this dog hits the back yard he begins to bark....at nothing. just an average of a bark every two seconds, for twenty to forty minutes. i am not exaggerating.

anyway, i found out last night that the owner and the dog are not going to be there anymore. try to guess what the annoying dog and owner have been replaced with.......

registered sex offenders! a family(if you can use that expression) of three, all registered on the national list!
i thought that they were just a family of harmless nitwits, nope, not just nitwits but rap sheeted and registered nitwits.

i am glad i don't have kids.
