Is there a way to put entire threads on ignore?

Is there? So they are not so........In your face all the time.

Sorry, I can't see this thread or I'd answer you.

PS I don't think so unless you think the work-around is appropriate, yes, you can ignore whole threads, assuming you're willing to ignore all threads on a particular board.

Of course, the best answer is to just not click on them.

There is a way,

It involves turning off your computer and going outside.

It's called the "analog workaround."

Common when someone takes a vacation.

Annoying but it will subside.

I prefer to practice mouse control.

Does that involve whips and chains?

If so where do you get the tiny whips and chains?

No silly.

I put a condom over the mouse.

It's just mind over matter.

I don't mind, so it doesn't matter.

Is that related to an analog reacharound?

Not sure when vBulletin software introduced the feature, but you can "ignore threads." Open PPOT BBS. Then, simply highlight the thread you wish to ignore. Press and hold the Alt button and then tap function key F4. There's a slight glitch, though. If the browser asks if you wish to "Close all tabs," go ahead and hit "yes."Hope this helps.

As opposed to a digital reacharound?

Oh wait, that's the other forum. Never mind.

Something like "put the mouse down and step away from the computer!" type of thing? :)

Aurel 05-05-2010 04:51 PM
