65th Anniversary V-E Day, Thank you to all WWII Vets
Yesterday was V-E day, thank you to all our fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers and all who contributed.
As usual, not a single mention of it on any major US news home page. Disgusting.

Sorry to have missed it. They deserve our respect more than most of us will ever know.

A friend of mine posted it to his FB page, both our father's served in European ops and both are gone.

Yes, Thanks to all vets! Some had a really good time! Easy Co. of the 101st airborne had come across the largest private booze collection of their imagination. Literally truckloads of the finest Europe had to offer was distributed among the troops. They partied for a week!
