pocket translator - recommendations?
I need something that is easy to carry, covers Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. Of course it needs to do it well. Anyone with experiences?
Here's one recommended by Wall Street Journal - http://www.123language.com/Lingo-Pacifica-Talk-10-Talking-Electronic-Language-Translator-TR-2203-pr-458.html |

I think at the same price point they all work pretty much the same. But IMHO, in the time it takes you to type out what you want/need, you'll be dead from hunger or lost. Take a simple berlitz pocket guide or similar and you can scan and point easy enough. Or be an american and just talk slow and loud.
