Bump for a 9 YO thread. I was gonna post a new one but might as well continue from then.

Hot here in SoCal. Summer starts in Sept every year and lasts thru Halloween. Sometimes a bit before and a bit later. Always hot the week after Labor Day.

Our weather is stuck. Dorian has caused the weather pattern to get almost constipated.

Now that Dorian is moving out, the heat dome can come sliding east and we get hot for a few days and finally the normal jet stream will start to drop south and bring us rain for next weekend.

Beautiful here. Outside all day picking up debris from Dorian. Golf course in my backyard opens back up tomorrow.

A day or two ago, our forecast said we were going to have 4 days at 101*, but I think we've topped out at 97* so far today.

Yeah, it's been hot here where I live south of you. Been in the 90's almost on a daily basis for quite a while. This coming week is supposed to be down in the 80's & high 70's, which will be nice. The only thing is I'll have to get my butt out and get some of that work done I've been telling my wife it's too hot to do.

45* this morning got up to 73* sunny nice day.

This is the best time of year here . You get nice crisp mornings, days, just touching into the 80's. Humidity low, and great cool evenings.
The next month is my absolute favorite time of the year here. Late summer/early fall in Pa, has to be as good of weather as anywhere in the US.
Followed by my least favorite 5 months .....

Into the mid 80s here. And in an odd twist, after no power issues during Dorian, we just had a brief power outage. Yay FPL!

It'll hit 100F, 67% humidity, 0% chance of rain. It's 69F in the house right now, but it wont be all day long.

Beautiful, cool night in the 60's. Low 80's today.

The Osprey's left yesterday. A Heron was checking out their nest and took-off just as I snapped the pic from my office.
