Wife Gone Until 21 May

How long can I last on a four layer chocolate cake, beer and diet soda? I was also considering seeing if I could go for ten days without speaking but that's too easy. I'd also do the 'no clothes' thing but the blinds have been open lately and there are waaaay too many children around that could do without therapy.

I'd invite everyone over for a house party but I'd just end up making you work on the cars.

If your supplies run low, do you know how to forage for chips, salsa, and beer?

At least 38 years and 3 months, by my count.

I just live off of Papa Murphy's, Hardee's, and beer.

And I usually cook something like rabbit or duck that my wife won't eat...

Get a case of Ramen soups. You'll be all set.

That should leave lots of time to work on the Cayman project, right?

Wife (and kids) have been gone since last Friday. I'm still alive, the cats haven't starved, and the house still smells OK. Oh, and did I mention all the little projects I've gotten accomplished around the house?

Still need a jig, but I've been looking for options other than an actual jig recently. In theory, with her out of the picture I will feel more comfortable pulling up to the house with a truckload of stolen I-beams and the cops hot on my a$$.

With hookers, while snorting blow, of course.

What I'd do if I were you....lol..... get yourself some fine cigars, a good supply of beer, chips and dips and take a few days off work.

I've been divorced more than five years now and when I arrive home after work, I still enjoy taking a moment to just listen to the silence. I really love solitude. My current GF and I are having this discussion lately. I'm not lonely enough, I guess. I enjoy my solitude. Not to hijack this thread, but am I weird? Anybody else prefer to be alone? Sure, I enjoy getting together with friends, GF, various people. But 90% of the time at home, I am alone. That works for me. Am I crazy? Let me rephrase that. Is this tendency toward solitariness unhealthy?

I enjoy taking 4-5 days alone to paddle and usually end up not speaking to or seeing any other people during that time so, no, I don't think you're strange . . . but it could be we both need to be locked up.

I hate most people and like being alone. My goal in life is to be left alone. But I do enjoy hanging with my wife. She's pretty cool.

The last time my wife left town for a few days, I hopped on the bike and rode to Mammoth Lakes via Death Valley. That was a nice little trip to the middle of nowhere and I wasn't bothered by anyone.

Hmmmm.

You old folks are putting everything out of order. Beer=carbs, so therefore, all you will need for the rest of your life is...

Beer.

She's been gone less than a day and already I've backed the 928 into a lake and had a pimp steal all our furniture.

edit: I am trying this, baby!! Heck, we'll mix in a little Datura Stramonium to make it interesting . . .
