Well I will say on thing; 3 minutes of that was more amusing than that stupid "Deal or No Deal" with Howie Mandel.

Fantastic!!! Errrr. . . I mean . . . . . Disgusting!!!

Do the contestants have prior relationships before the game?

gprsh924 05-13-2010 07:19 PM

That was awesome

Never trust a pretty girl

" . . . was found with her head bashed in, a small gold ball lying close to the body covered in the victim's blood. Police are still searching for suspects . . ."

The guy very quickly assumed the girl was going to split, so was focused almost entirely on convincing the girl that he was honestly going to take the split. He made almost no effort to elicit any clues from her, and he made no effort to judge her.

Pretty entertaining play on the classic Prisoner's Dilemma.

lol. that girl might be richer, but she's ****ed for life. if i were her friend before, how could i ever trust her in anything? although i'd still hit it....over and over. and then once more for good measure.

I would love to play poker with that gentleman.

Let's look at the math of the decision:

If you choose split, you have a 50% chance of 50% of the prize and a 50% chance of 0%.
If you choose steal, you have a 50% chance of 100% of the prize and a 50% chance of 0%.

So, the better choice is steal.

 Maybe she wrote him a check for half after the show.

I emailed this video to a friend. This was his response;

This is a classic male/female interaction. He's reassuring and protective. She acts scared and vulnerable. Meanwhile, she's cleaning out his wallet and probably screwing his best friend.

Yep, I saw that coming as soon as i understood the game.

jtfreels 05-14-2010 12:07 PM

I would have done everything the guy did............... except for choosing the split ball :)

Jay

M.D. Holloway 05-14-2010 12:30 PM

I would have split it if it was a guy and stole it if it was a girl.

porsche356a 05-14-2010 01:51 PM

I don't get it.

If the guy stole it, per the the scenario in the video, he still would have received nothing.

Sure, the gal would also get nothing, but what would be the point? At least someone got something, and his honor is intact.
