I drove 350 miles yesterday and too frequently saw people on the phone and texting, actually almost got rear ended at about 60 MPH by a guy texting in a full size pickup. It's out of control. I've been the driver in a staged jaws demonstration, it's quite an experience. |

250 miles on jezebel yesterday. every third or fourth car had someone driving while on the phone or texting.

They enacted a cell phone ban while I lived in NY. Made a huge difference.
In the Dallas area now and it's rampant, my casual observation puts it around 40-50% of drivers around me at any given time are on phones. Makes driving impossible.
