If the job's done,

And you feel right about the money,

Then we're all good!!!

The price went up, like you and me and everyone knew it would, but that's ok.

When i lived in scottsdale i did my own pool. If i remember it was fairly straight forward.

Run the pump at night, and run it for 1 hour for every 10 degrees over 60....???? Now I cant remember the hours. Someone in your neighborhood knows for sure.

For chemicals it was no more then a gallon of acid and clorine each week durring the summer. Substantially less during the winter.

Plus the afternoon pool scrub with the cold beer once a week.

Chris,

We used to do one hour for every hour of sunlight, and did that for many years. The last couple of years I have knocked it down to keeping the pool pump on 3 hours a day and thats it. It starts at just before 6 and turns off right before 9 am, before the price for electricity goes up.

I do four tabs of chlorine in the pool a week and have done this for years. Checks with the pool place show good. Dump some "extras" in from time to time but so far (and I have been here 10 years now) its doing fine.
