There was a flock of about a dozen that flew over and kept going, but a group of about 4 or 5 stayed around to entertain - pelicans, not cats in hats.

Found these in my father's library the other day.
They're hand-carved from very heavy hardwood. He bought them in Italy more than 50 years ago.
