A car for the parents if he quits smoking. What a load of crap. Do they get a house if they hook him on heroin and then offer to get him off of it?

You have to love it. Everyone smokes there.

And you can bet the kid is smoking Kreteks (Indonesian clove cigarettes) as well. Each one of those has the nicotine content of 40 red Marlboros.

I lived in Indonesia for a few years in the 1980's. They had a cigarette they sold openly that was mixed with marijuana, which was widely smoked by people with very menial jobs. Unfortunately this included taxi-drivers. I have been on more insane, lunatic rides through Jakarta than I care to remember.

In the late 1980's there was a move to put warning labels on cigarettes, but the government nixed this on the basis if less people died from smoking, the health and social services in Indonesia would collapse completely. At least they were honest about it.

Keep 'em smoking...

The kid's four years old now, much thinner, and quit cigarettes over a year ago. Great old video though.

I got caught smoking in 3rd grade. I only took one puff - my friend brought them to school. I remember sittin in the principle's office (Sister Felicitas) as she was calling a public school to see if they had room for 3 bad boys. Fortunately, they were all booked up and we didn't have to go.....:)

The kid wants to be POTUS!:D
