I just took some measurements and it's gonna be pretty tough to fit a door as a top in the space I want to use. But I don't really want a large workbench. Just something with enough room to work and hold my vise. I will probably set it up for reloading too.

3/4 particle board with 1/4 inch hard masonite. Oak trim for purty.

I've had this for about 20 years, just getting broken in.

Herr O, I have the same Craftsman chest and that's partly what's limiting my size. I have it between my current bench and hot water heater. If I built one like yours, I'd be set.

OJU, what's the name of that place? Your red bench totally rocks. I'd kill for one of those.

why did ya knock her up? i honestly dont know. steve is a concours resto guy of muscle cars. rotissirie type restos. he and his buddy were hauling ass during their mispent youth thru papago park and blew a corner going up galvin parkway and wasted/totaled a 70 z-28.

he found another and did the resto trip on it and made the republic newspaper for his efforts and also has a bunch of rods he built. heavily involved in the route 66 gig and other hot rod shows.

I would probably only feel at home in Thom's and Paul's garage. Everyone else, dirty it up a bit! Grease and dirt didn't kill anyone.
