Just booked a vacation
Hi guys ,
Just booked 2 weeks vacation 4 days in South beach Miami then 10 days inthe keys split between key west and duck key... Any advise on any good sites or definate doos whilst down there .. Im from the UK so unsure on what to expect.... |

I don't know, but I hope you enjoy your trip. We thought about going to Key West but we are changing those plans just because of the spill..

South Beach is interesting.
For the Keys just go with the flow. Lots of good diving in the Keys. Mostly chill and forget the rest of the world exists.

While on Duck key, book a fishing trip on the Tailwalker II with Capt Mike Kasten. He is at the Hawks Cay Marina. On of my best charter captain I have met.

There are a lot of stores in Key West selling 200-300 year old salvaged coins from ships that sank. There are real and reproduction ones. If you decide to buy one, let me know. I know the salvage diver who sells them to the stores, and is prices are 1/3-1/2 of the store prices, and are real.

Big Pink on Collins in SoBe is great for lunch & atmosphere. If you get tired of the beach at SoBe, head north on A1A to Haulover for an 'all over' tan.
