Dog discussion got me thinking. License for a dog or car, but not for kids

What is up with that? Anyone can be a parent, and not all are qualified for the position. Much greater adverse impact on society by bad kids than bad dogs, poor driving or even guns if you ask me. I am not talking about eugenics, I am talking about coming up with something to discourage people who should not be having kids from having them, tax credit or something. Obviously this would be quite a can of worms, but would address multiple problems at the same time. Keep in mind, for every responsible adult(Hugh or Paul for example) there are many irresponsible adolescents(actually quite well represented on a car site, go figure)

Pets are a possession. Kids are human beings. It is a god-given right to procreate. No government should be able to encroach on that right. Except china, they can do it. Are you really suggesting that you want a bunch of bureaucrats deciding if you can have children or not? I will say that it is wrong for the government to sponsor irresponsible breeding, AKA welfare. I think that at puberty ALL males should be sterilized in some reversible manner... Then at age 18 a test is taken to see if the male is smart enough to reproduce... If so... procedure reversed... carry on as usual.... If not... Too bad... | ||

Controlling the behavior of the Citizenry can be fun and exciting for the whole family, if you are a Communist.
