Any Pelicans at the Eagles concert?
Just wondering if my wife and I were the only soggy Pelicans at the concert.
We've never been to Foxboro stadium (Ma.) before so when the rain started about 10 miles before the exit i didn't think much of it. Then after 2 1/2 miles of stop and go traffic the stadium appears and WTF somebody stole the dome! After paying 40.00 bucks to park the Porsche we walked over to the topless stadium and began the hunt for some chic rain gear AKA garbage bag with a hood.Anyway on to the show Keith Urban- Dixie Chicks and finally the Eagles. We haven't been to a "major" concert in a long long time and we were amazed at the sound system there. The bass would almost knock you of your feet. All in all had a great time (cept the rain part) oh...and the high speed diving award I got on the way home at 1:30am (80 in a 65) he asked what my hurry was and i told him we were wet from the concert and wanted to get home and dry out. When he came back to the car he said he reduced it to 70 in a 65 (saved me 50.00 bucks) Any body else there?

40 to park? Man, I'm out of the times big time. Of course, that probably pales in comparison to the ticket prices.
I wear earplugs and that just messes up the sound. |

Luv the Eages, but I'm with Milt: Rain, $40 to park, crowds, noise...........I'll buy the DVD - Big screen, surround sound, warm fire and favorite drink......
Hotel California - You can check out, but you can never leave.

I thought most ampitheaters these days didn't charge to park, but had some kind of surcharge on each ticket. I wouldn't pay $40 to park for anyone, not even a private showing. That's just crazy.

Wasn't my idea to go. My wife bought the tickets in March (I think) didn't tell me about it till last week. I hate crowds and don't like getting ripped off either. Got to keep the little women happy
