Fiance dumps you? Buy a Gallardo put a 100000 miles on it!

Interesting (stupid) story that could have been handled better.

This guy's fiance left him after he gave her a ring and bought a house for them to live in. So he sold most of his crap, bought a Lamborghini Gallardo, and drove back and forth across the country to the tune of 100.000 until he blew up the engine in the Gallardo.

THis would probably make an OK movie.

I Sold Everything To Buy A Lamborghini And Drive Across The Country

If he'd have bought a twin turbo or a GT3, it'd still be running.

Incredibly cool guy although I'd be happy doing that in any decent car or truck. I love his attitude.

Well once you live life a little, have your heart broken, and your dreams smashed...you might actually understand.

He doesn't give a schit. Read the whole article, he's a resourceful guy. He is not your average schmuck.

I did read the whole article... Just doesn't seem too bright to pile 90k onto what debt you already have... I don't care if he will make it back at some point...

It's only money.

Money is an absolutely miserable replacement for happiness.

I say good for him.

Yes it is "Only Money" Which would be one way to look at it if he had the money... The insanity here is that he did this on borrowed money....

Listen I would be all for blowing my life savings on a trip... In fact I nearly did earlier this week... But going into debt for it? Totally insane...

Now he is trying to get a business going, has a massive debt to service, a paper weight of a lambo...

tell me that temporary happiness isnt gone... I bet this dude is as stressed as everyone else now.

How do you put a price on 100,000 miles in a Lambo going back and forth across the US several times as you retool your soul?

You can't put a price on it. It is far more valuable than any amount of money.

You know, most people that have become successful will be successful again. And those types don't worry about debt as much as others.\

He'll be back.

Retool your soul. I like that.

I bet he did.

I agree with Vash's synopsis. $90k to experience what that guy did....that is the absolute deal of a lifetime IMO.

Everybody passes through grief differently, I've heard. I guess this is a weird way...
