Lease or Buy?
What the forums advice?

I always lease with the intention of buying the car out after the lease is up, low monthly payments are an advantage

It depends on many factors -- the main one being this: How long are you planning on keeping the car? If you plan on keeping it for more than 5 years, then buying is better in the long run. Shorter than 5 years, then leasing is a better choice.
That said, 1.9% APR is quite attractive for financing a Mercedes C-Class. I'd opt for buying. But I don't believe in leasing, since I keep my cars for a long time! -Z-man.

Also depends on the sales tax laws in your state. IIRC, in VA you only paid sales tax on the portion of the car you paid for, as in depreciation/sales price. I think in AZ you pay sales tax on the purchase price of the car, even though you're only leasing it for X years.

good point - it's the same in WA.
...and at 10% tax, that could be a couple k on the t-reg trade.
