I think we are all a little older on the Technical Forum.

The OT Forum seems to bring out the inner child in a lot of us.

You can get glimpse of my inner child in my mischievousness or sarcasm. But for the most part I have become one serious mtherfker who can "bounce*" anyone on this Board..I am always calculating and assessing..switch on switch off...

BTW The term "Bounce" is an old WW1 fighter pilot term...usually when you attack out of the sun coming in from behind to surprise an enemy. 10 20 30 40 or more TABS is rolling up the score...of retards hitting the floor..."Curse that Beagle"..is my cry...

Come to think of it the Greastest Fighter Pilot of WW1 wasn't Richtoffen..but the Frenchy Rene Fonck...why he downed 75 Germans officially which was right behin von richtoffen at 80, but that alone didn't make him the greatest...what made him the best was the fact that he started flying in 1914 and survived the war when the average life expectancy for a new pilot on the Western Front was 2 weeks..couple that with the fact that he rarily came back with a bullet hole in his plane. Truly amazing..

It is reasonably thought that Fonck actually had around 100. He claimed about 140, but it was very difficult to verify kills then.

A couple times he actually landed next to the wreck of his victory and took the dead pilot's wallet or picture back to base with him.

Was a spectacular pilot, never wounded.

He later tried to be the first to cross the Atlantic but the plane crashed on takeoff. Lived to a ripe old age.

Those WWI guys were pikers! Hartman, JG 52, 352 confirmed kills. Only met the Americans once at Ploesti, shot down five p51s in that day.

So what did Harman and Francis Garbreski (US P47 Ace) have in common??

GWN7, I will raise you 83 months for my age, aaahhhh errr that would make it 739. That seems old but, until you get there, it isn't.

rode 25 miles yesterday on the bike, now that felt good , must get back to at least 100 miles per week, get that BMI below 20.
