Toy Story 3
Best of the three IMO.
Has a great plot. The Lotso character is effin' hilarious. |
Saw that over the weekend, groovy 3 D effect, I concur with your assessment
First movie I saw in a theater since Gladiator |
It was good, I took both my boys to it - 2 and 5. Both enjoyed it but I was concerned that the subject matter was a little more 'advanced' than the previous more 'light hearted' episodes.
It was really good though and both of the boys seemed to handle it fine. |

My wife thought it was rather emotional at the end.

For kids my age it packs a punch... We can relate to Andy, We just went through or are going through the same thing. Packing up all that signified "childhood" and moving on with life. Plus there is the fact that I was 4 when the first one came out 15yrs ago... One of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters... and then only vaguely.... Definitely a good movie. Little more suspenseful than the others. I think the kiddos will like it though.... They may not get some of the references ("The claw!!!") but still a good movie.... |

My wife watched this week's Frontline about having to go overseas to Switzerland for assisted suicide. It followed some poor bastich with ALS on his trip to kill himself. Not even a twitch of the eyelid from my wife when he croaked...pretty sure she's dead inside. As usual I walk out on that shyte as soon as I get an inkling about what's going on (not a big TV fan). Naturally I walk in while he's drinking his Socrates Coctail. |
Much prefer the first one for entertainment value but that 3D effect was very, very well done. Not gimmicky like when i was a youngster. Will def. go see more 3D movies.
It was more intense than the other two. As an aside the Toy Story ride/game at Disney Whatevertheycallitnow Studios is fantastic and also 3D. |
Ya kinda sucked when Woody dies but...oh...opps....sorry kids.
