Climate Change

Around here we had a Very Gray May, a seamless transition into June Gloom and an even smoother transition into Rainy July. It has rained four days this month, it's raining now, and all day the 4th I was wearing a jacket.

I'm all for it. Long Beach is hot and humid enough during Aug, Sept and Oct that any delay is welcome.

Speaking of Long Beach, It's a Mad, Mad World was on TV last night, love that flick, lot of it filmed in LB, cool weather is delaying my tomatoes, and made my peaches turn out pretty small

In NW Ohio we have had 8 days above 90 since May. I am sweating as I type this from "under" air conditioned office at work.... That said, we had plenty of very cool weather earlier this year.... It is just life... some days are hot, some days are cool. It has been like this my whole 40+ years living in Ohio. Additional taxes on my energy usage will not change Mother Nature's weather patterns one bit.

Rain in SD in July? I hadn't heard. Is it all from that hurricane down south?

We haven't had anything close to a heat wave yet here in the Bay Area. No rain since May, either.

Same here. 59°F was the high, for the 4th. Much warmer today. ..some freak 'thermal trough' is setting up to bump us into the 90's for a few days.

SD is quite a ways south. Even a different county. I don't know if it's raining there.

I think I confused Dana Point with Point Loma. What do us Northern Californians know?
