Google streetview shows a run down 'hood just like where I grew up. Just don't hold eye contact too long while not avoiding eye contact and you'll be fine. :)

There's a truck there. I need someone to confirm condition and drive it to make sure it'll make the drive to Chicago if I buy it. I'll buy lunch or dinner and beers if I fly in to drive it up here.

You do not want a run down truck from that area of Houston. It was intimately acquainted with Katrina.

The dealer rents a space there. And it's. 2006 truck so it should not beba Katrina truck.

Guess ya better PM one or more of us with some details, and we'll see what can be done. It's actually not that bad of an area, compared to your basic Chi-town ghetto. There's an Autozone down the street as well, in case something breaks on the test drive :D

2006 model year was out in September of 2005. It could be a Katrina truck.

That is after the storm...else someone was not busy reacting to the storm and bought a truck in the middle of the mess, got it shipped to HOU very early in Sept 05 and drove it into the Gulf :)
