I bought the latest edition from amazon for about $200 earlier this year and have hardly made a dent in it. There's so much information in this book. I would say the number 1 must have Porsche book.

it is the most detailed Porsche history book available.. I'm sure some spoon books are better than most.. but there has to be a 'bible'.. I'm sure it's not $9.95 .. Rika | ||

I have dropped $200 into a book on many an occassion. It is a reference work on Spoons or sum such fallderall. In other words it can either make me money or save me money with the info contained. Also one can make money by purchasing a book at the right price, as when they go out of print that information becomes scarce and thus costly. Last year I bought 19 books on German Pistols, including Lugers Walthers, Browning HP's, and even a small book on the Mauser C96. at an auction for $1000.00. The 5 books by Jan Sill on the Lugers were worth about $1500 alone. It was that set of books that i was after. Further unless that book on Porsche is chock full of production specific detail about a Porsche model I care about..I could care less about it.
