I feel disappointed in Mel after listening to that recording...
She set him up and she knows how to push a mans buttons and he was stupid enough to let himself be caught out.
Over the phone???? He needs to think about that.

I wonder what "motivated" her to record this conversation?

MONEY ??? ;)

He was not sober when this happened. After all of his abuse he was willing to give her another chance????
Pills?... Booze?... Who knows but he didn't have all of his faculties.

She claims he hit her while she was holding her child...
OK.. If this is true why is she still around? Why didn't she leave after that happened?

Once again. MONEY ??? ;)

It takes two to Tango... Or put another way. There are three sides to every story.

1. His version
2. Her version
3. And then what really happened.

where are pics of her in "that green thing"?

Agreed, if you listen to the second encounter she is far to calm and certainly appears to be baiting him.

But let's remember something, that is him. That is what he is capable of. We don't hear what exactly triggered it but my own father, whom outsiders all perceived as a charming, gracious, humble man was capable of a lot worse with very little if no provocation.

That guy has issues. Had them long before he met her.

I agree 100% but she needs to take responsibility for her life and leave.

Mel has his own issues which he needs to deal with... He either will or he won't. Who knows? Whatever...

But she has the power to walk.... So walk already... Seeya... Bye bye. No big fat check for you.
That's life! ;)

Fair enough.

Although her motives may be completely partisan she may be inadvertently doing someone, maybe even Mel, a favor.

He definitely has homicidal tendencies. He is not in control in any way shape or form. If he does not get help he has all the potential to pull an OJ.

This is all speculation of course. ;)

He picked her. No one held a gun to his head and said he had to date her and have a kid with her.

100% his fault. Personal responsibility. The whole "he's a victim of the diabolical manipulative woman" is a bunch of BS. He's got some serious personality defects...

Agreed. Some of the excuses I'm reading here remind me of a riddle:

Q: What do you tell a woman with two black eyes?
A: Nothing, you told her twice already.

Some of you guys are pretty scary.

They are BOTH codependent

100% his fault??? Really... What about her part in all of this?

They both made a decision to be together and have a child.

My my "personality defects" ouuu what kind of "defects"might those be? I luv "personality defects" I wallow in mine, like a pig loves wallowing in shyte. As a matter of fact I have perfected them or so Mother says. But I feel there is always room for improvment.

My Daddy always said, "Judge not lest ye be judged."

One shouldn't run from the dark side...as I found out U can't run fast enough, it will always catch up to you. So one should try and embrace the dark side, descend into the blackness of the abyss and U just might find that you are a human being with the capacity to love and show kindness.

You can't count on what she did or does, the only thing you can count on is what you do and what you bring to the table.

How did he not know? He thought her fake boobies represented some kind of betrayal. He's an idiot.

Is that what you got out of it? U need to listen more carefully. Did you not hear him say repeatedly that all he wanted was to be shown some KINDNESS. Exactly what the context of that was I can't say. But that was the source of what hurt him and enraged him.

Exactly what happens when you wound a lion, or tiger, or bear, or elephant or bull....they charge you...they are in so much pain that they want to get at the surce of the pain.

I'm not really interested in Mel's emotional angst. But I'm fascinated by the idea that a man could have a sexual relationship with a woman and not know her boobies are fake. Amazing.:D
