iPhone apps updates, how?
iTunes used to have a feature that would check all my existing apps to see if any had available updates. I could then choose to accept/deny updates and download them.
That feature seems to be gone. I think it disappeared with the current version of iTunes. How does one update existing apps now? |
When I connect to a WIFI network and start up the app store application it automatically searches for updates....

I've been lazy and update via my phone.
|
That worked. Thanks.
I've never used the phone-based app tool before. While that was easy, it would be nice to do it from iTunes like a used to do. |

on my Iphone 3g I have an App Store app on the home screen, you can launch the app and
when app loads the update button is on the lower right. |
Make sure you hold the phone with your left hand. That makes it work so much better.
|
Hmm, my iTunes still notifies of app updates automagically. You do however have to tell it to download and install them on the phone. Maybe there is an option to enable/disable this function?
The phone-based updating works fine too but obviously uses bandwidth and battery juice. |
