Name a "feel good" movie......

I'm not one who lives in the past.......but flipping through the channels tonite I realized a movie I haven't seen in years hasn't been on and am going to have to pick it up on dvd......
It's one of those movies that simply reminds you of the past glory days which you know you'll never see again as times have changed......sure it was based a bit before my time, but invokes the freindships I've had and the general good times which were had when we were young.....
For me that movie is "american graffitti".......
What is yours?

Zombieland which I saw Saturday. Actually that movie did have somewhat of a happy ending, but I digress. I grew up in the late '80s so any of the brat pack era movies work for me; St. Elmos Fire, Breakfast club, Youngblood, 16 candles, Risky Business to name a few. I heard mention of Red Dawn this morning on the radio and that one could be tossed in there too.

Wow, reading that list, I grew up in an era of parachute pants and bad cinematography. At least we have the 944 to save that era from total failure......hehe

I am certain that Mel Gibson would trade in his standard Jacuzzi for one of those right about now.

I could also go with American Graffiti. When I saw it when it came out, it took me back to my H.S. days. I think it was even filmed in that area (San Joaquin Valley of KA) if I remember correctly.

Breakin, Christmas Story and of course It's a Wonderful Life

I can pass up the Little Rascals nor the three stooges even though they aren't movies. A quick episode of that grainy black and white always makes me smile

We have watched Good Morning Vietnam and Animal House in the last week.

Anybody ever watch "Stealing Home"?
