"New Zealand media reported Monday that the boy was playing on a balcony before he fell, dropping through the roof of a parking garage onto the concrete.

. . .

"God must have been with him. He's got an angel looking after him, that's for sure," housekeeper Kaa Wehi, who was working in the building at the time, told the newspaper.

If god "looking after me" means throwing me over a balcony, I'd rather look after myself, thank you!

My wife once watched a guy fall 200 feet from a grain elevator onto hard packed ground. He got up without a scratch after landing flat on his face. She said his name was Hesus.

Garage
In college, my girlfriend and a buddy of mine were going to Mt Bachelor to go skiing, never made it. Hit a patch of black ice going 10 under the posted speed limit, slid for what seemed a long time, hit the side where the plowed up snow was, flipped end over end in an S-10 Blazer, coming to rest on the driver's door in the middle of the two lane highway, alongside a river. If we had gone over the snow drift, rather than bouncing off, we would have all died in that river.

My girlfriend was okay, small scratch under her eye, look in the backseat, no rear window, Greg is gone! She is sort of freaking, still in seat sort of above me, "Where is Greg?" I see Greg running towards us as I look out the windshield, "There he is." He apparently had gone out the back window. When we hit the ice, he was not strapped in. He knew we were in trouble when he heard me say, "Oh Shi" and scrambled to put on his seatbelt. He could see we were going to hit, next thing he knows he is sitting in the middle of the highway. He was completely unscathed.

We're all tough here in New Zealand. Jumping off 16th floor balconys is just a hobby for a lot of us.

Ah, so rewarding it is to sit back and enjoy the life of an internet legend.
