All the pilots will appreciate this....
I'm no longer a charter slave! While I did work for a top notch 135 outfit, it was still charter. I started this week with a pretty sweet pt91 job flying a Citation V, with a xls on the way. More family time, more of a life, and more money. Good stuff!

Congrats!
I never was able to take a shower long enough to wash off some of those charter trips and clients from hell. A tip, however.... when you go for training, keep the 135 curriculum and standards in your checkride. Should the baloon go up (can't tell you how many times that has happened...) you'll be able to join a 'management' company's cert much easier. Make copies of all your training records from the charter cert prior to leaving. Last edited by fingpilot; 06-24-2011 at 03:49 PM.. |

Congrats!
Am just now working with a group locally who is getting 5 Citation Ultra's and one Challenger or G-bird. The citations will be 135 but the big boy will be part 91. Nice to see aviation moving forwards for a change!

Everything we see shows that the next 5 years will be excellent for pilots. Just hope the economy follows suit.

MAJOR 121 retirements coming as the age 65 rule hits next fall. American is scheduled to recall all 3200 furloughs by Spring and others are staring to hire now as well.
