I'm in a great mood! Putting my house back together after yesterday's brush fire. It took out a lot of brush and grasses giving me a decent fire break between me and the freeway.

Absolutely, just came off a good camping trip and now lounging professionally...

Nope. No drugs, well except for a few beers today.

Just all in all a good day.

I feel good. It's 80 degrees in Tacoma and I just returned from a "Cast for Kids" event where we took 35 disabled kids fishing on the Sound. Now I'm having a G and T and relaxing..........

After today's drive from Ciudad del Carmen, Compeche to Pariso, Tobasco and back, I am just glad to be alive. I commented to Margarita as I was taking a caffeine pill, I wanted to be fully awake when we crashed, so I could properly punctuate the air with my screams!

Nothing like having an insane driver taking us for a site visit...India was worse, and for months on end, but i was 26 and fearless.

Today was a good day. Wrote a proposal for some new work that's rolling in, had a couple of brews and spent some time with family. Relaxed and fun - good positive energy.

Life can't get any better I swear.

Good Riding

Me and 4 Porsche buddies went to the track Calabogie Motorsports Park (The web site has a live feed when the track is in use) via back roads with lot of curves and hill. Four of the cars were wide body. Lots of fun.

When we get there they were making all visitors park their cars in the quarry next door; half a mile away... I went to the office and talk to "Jane". She said "you guys are not going to park at the quarry. She sent me with Glenn (work for her) back to the gate and he told the gate keeper that we could park right there.

I later dropped by the office to thank her but she was not there. Glenn (who I talked to on the phone once) greet me like if I had know him for years... I asked if she had a business card (so that I could send a thank you e-mail), they give me a few different business cards and I found out that "Jane" is the Track Manager, hew haw I`ve got connections... Me and Philip are going back for a DE in August.

We watched a few races and came back on different roads but still curvy and hilly. I was closing the convoy. Its a sight to see a few Porsches in front of you. My brakes took a beating as I was following a noisy & slow 930!!!

We stopped at Doug`s place to talk more about cars. A few minutes after I had turn the ignition off, I went to start the car and nothing. Not even a click. An hour later, after she cooled down, she started right away. She never did that before mind you, she never reved like that before. Time for a new starter, pass me any good bargain leads for a high torque light weight one.

Left Doug place, went in town and had a Poutine, so I'm in an excellent mood.

Cheers

J.J.

P.S. Don't know what a poutine is? Ask BRPORSCHE... or see the 9th photo.

Tom, I hope you are working to upgrade to the Gold tickets of course your next Poutine is on me. The rumor is that Villeneuve is coming back as a team owner next year.
