Todays Lunch...

The only decent thing the cafe had to offer was veggie burgers. Add a few peppers and mushrooms and you actually get a pretty darn tasty meal. (would have been even better with bacon).

The sweet tater fries were a nice add-on.

Are you in Tejas?? Hard to believe, even in Ostentejas. Are you traveling?

I also suggest you carry an emergency bacon supply in a large plastic vial (I use a hort piece of PVC pipe with threaded end caps for my emergency Tabasco supply).

Bacon is the vegetarian's gateway drug.

At 49 cents, I find this much more convenient, 1/8 ounce. Lasts about 1.5 breakfasts of corned beef hash and eggs.

Oh, wait, I see the point, with PVC you can carry MORE for when you travel. Smart thinking.

also, with the PVC container I can put it in a canoe, kayak, bounce it off a rock, etc.

will no one volunteer to do an emergency air drop of bacon to poor Mike, wherever he is?
