Anyone ever skied Red River New Mexico??
We are planning a ski trip for Spring Break 2011. Several families are going, there are about 4 people who would be considered intermediate skiers, there's me (who used to be intermediate but hasn't skied for 20 years) and then the rest are either beginners or kids who have never skied.
We are planning to go to Red River, NM. Anyone ever been? Tips?

No but trying to figure out how to get to the white stuff from here. Might have to tag along with you on that trip.
Slight hijack for my NE buds. Mad River Glen, Ski It, if you can.

I've been to Red River but always in the Summer.... I know my uncle worked there for a while and they had to make quite a bit of snow...

Mad River was my favorite ski area way back when.

Yes, ,many times. Great little resort town. Very homey - good selection of hills - great snow during season. Very nice.
Dated a girl that her family had a house there -
