I can load pics from my iPhone with my work laptop but not my home PC, Why?

I have Vista at home and XP at work. The work laptop loads them just fine, the home Vista PC says it must be a jpeg to load on PP. I tried using explore to change the iPhone pic names to xxx.jpeg, but it doesn't seem to want to let me. What am I missing.?SmileWavy

Just a guess but try the extension .jpg (without the "e".) Don't know if that matters or not.

PP only accepts jpg format.

Simply changing the file extension won't work.

EDIT: You need to open and resave them as jpg.

What format are they in Vista? .png maybe?

Curious what is converting them.

What software are you using to pull them from the phone?

Yeah when I plug it in to either comptuer it shows my iPhone. The message I get at home appears to be from PP saying it can't load the pics and that they have to be a gif or jpg only. I just loaded some pics of my burned property from my work XP laptop, no problem, couldn't do it last night with the same iPhone at home with Vista.

just checked my iphone pictures...they are JPEG and are stored as such...maybe file size is an issue ???
