Not a good day at the track

This might be old news to some of you but somebody driving a late model Mustang really dorked-up the car and was really lucky to survive the crash.

Bad day for a Mustang pictures by Okiesnake - Photobucket

Yea, I remember this one. I think when it was first published many speculated the roll bar came through the bottom of the car. You can see something that looks like the roll bar mounts poking out in the upside down pic.

Wow! That was ugly. A lot of energy was absorbed by the tire wall, but the flip really did the number on it. I hope all Mustang owners take note to install a PROPER cage seeing how that roof collapsed like a wet paper bag.

With a full face helmet, that had to be really uncomfortable......having it stuck between the legs and planted close enough to get a good whiff of his soiled underwear.

From what I've read, both the passenger and driver walked away.

Looks like someone blew the installation, look at the bare pipe sticking out the bottom, shouldn't there be a plate there...

Wait, which is the before and which is the after pic? hard to tell with mustangs.
Maybe the roll bar was plastic to match the rest of the car.
(not 'sposed to bag on fords as much as I used to cause I gots one now but I still do out of habit ).
