Wife and I been thinking about going down after Labor Day. Prices seem to have dipped a bit for resort/airfare.
Keep uss posted.

Costa Rica is incredible. My wife and I spent a couple weeks down there about 3 years ago. I look forward to making it back. Have fun.

Took a family vacation there last month - scenery and people were awesome. Bring insect repellent - lots.
Daylight is from 5am-ish to 6pm-ish. Took a little getting used to, but you can fit a lot into 12 hours of daylight - just need to time shift a bit. Its rainy season down there now - nothing dries - at all.

August and September, the two months that it rains the most. Still a lot of fun to be had. I actually liked living there during the rainy periods, not so many people around. Have fun and if you like Rum, find some 12 year old Flor de Cana from Nicaragua. The Costa Rican rum is great too.
