taiwanese comfort food!
Me? my comfort food is mac/cheese..
here are a couple of my wife's. yesterday's stewed eggs and tomatoes over steamed rice..tomatoes from our garden, eggs from our hens. and taiwan's beef noodle soup. this is our first attempt and we need to tweak it. that big bowl of greens is pickled mustard greens..you put a scoop on top of the soup. ![]()

I eat egg whites, natural peanut butter, soft canned microwave foods, protein smoothies, and oatmeal
.Here was lunch: ![]() It's chili and spuds! So that looks amazing .

eggs and tomatoes! hell yeah! i used to cook it all the time but the g/f doesn't like eggs, so i end up eating it all myself.
taiwanese beef noodle soup...yum!!!! Haven't had the authentic stuff in a very long time!

Chinese comfort food
I was traveling with my wife to her temple outside of Beijing. AFter paying our respects at the temple. We stopped a a little roadside restaurant and had a great meal. Grilled fish, fried miniature rose blossoms, and szechuan peppercorn greens with chilis ginger garlic and vinegar..

This bowl of comfort was had in Hefei, China at the airport..
We were waiting for a plane to Huangshan and realized we were really hungry. So we tried out the airport concession stand... The noodles were most excellent... ![]()
