speed gong obc
 

Hi there. ..I finally installed a second toggle switch in order to have full obc function, namely the enabling of the speed limiter (gong) .

It is working, but the gong is more of a beep and is barely audible. Is that how it's supposed to sound? I do like that once you exceed the set limit, the obc shunts to the speed limit setting--and then returns back to the former obc function that was previously on screen.

And to have this second switch working, a ground wire is also necessary for this switch, i discovered, but as already described by wayne.

The main question--is the gong little more than a beep--and this beep is not audible at all if you have the radio on.

seven? what's that mean? my question is --is the gong just a faint beep? maybe i wasn't clear.

I think the deal is that you posted this in the Off Topic section of Pelican Parts, and you need to post, I think, in the BMW section of Pelican Parts.

I have no idea why people keep posting that pic of the bunny with two pancakes on its head that implies the bunny has one pancake on its head.

At least they didn't put an apostrophe in "its."

that gong show episode was hot!! unfortunately, you don't see that kind of stuff on network anymore. for goodness sake, you can't even see headlights like Loni Anderson or Chrissi Snow or Marilu Henner (WKRP, 3's company, Taxi)--those were crucial to my formative years!
