Broken bathroom til question
I was installing a new shower curtain rod in my guest bathroom, and found out that the outer-upper tiles on each end were cracked and loose; I found out the hard way on one side, when the loose section fell off onto the floor.
Is there a source for replacement tiles? I checked HD & Lowes to no avail. What's the best way to fix them with the existing pieces? I think they could be sectioned back in with the right adhesive. Thanks for any and all help. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281298133.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1281298166.jpg |
Try your tile store. It looks like a standard tile. Try Dal tile. If you want to just glue the little piece back, just any old epoxy or Liquid nail will do. I like Loc-tite's glue. Home Depot has it. The ones that do not sag or run and requires no clamp. They dry hard also. It look like an area that isn't going to get wet. top of the shower stall?

White caulk is your friend. It's amazing what it will do...

I might try fiberglass resin with white gel coat.
Bond the tile and fill the crack. Wet sand over the crack with 400-800 grit. KT |
