Modded Mustang chases down a Z-06...

I'm friends with Bruce Griggs.

He's quite a driver.
He took me out for some laps at Sears in his car.

From what I've been reading, he does some pretty impressive stuff to the live axle Mustang...

So, how "streetable" is a car after his mods? Your impression?

willtel 08-10-2010 10:22 AM

Imagine that, another Mustang post from pwd72s. Give it a rest already.

I came from dozens of years in karts where you couldn't. I was taught to do that in cars and welcomed the ability to do so. It's a very comfortable way of driving and I do it in the canyons a lot.

That vid shows a parking lot out there. And a lack of point byes. I bought orange gloves so you wouldn't miss my hand if it came out of the window.

Lol! You'll learn to live with it, like the rest of us have.

I guess I'm more of a "car guy" than "Porsche snob". I like the posts with Mustangs.

Trust me, I'm far from a Porsche snob, I even own a Ford. It just seems he is trying his best to turn this place into a mirror of The Corral.

So, put a camera in your P-car and post a video...I'd watch. :D

juanbenae 08-10-2010 06:30 PM

looks like a very skilled driver scarring the hell out of some mid level DE sorts.... no passing between three & four as the text states seems big fish, small pond...

jyl 08-10-2010 08:33 PM

Well he's lucky he didn't meet a 928

Or a well set up 944. To give the Boxster driver credit, he was one of the few to give a bypass wave...well done on his part. Ditto the Z-06 driver.

Schumi 08-10-2010 09:03 PM

I need to really start hammering this board with posts about how awesome 1989 Corolla SR5 Coupes are.

LOL! Well said!

Seriously, my favorite track video is still Yellowbird at the Ring, but everybody's seen that one.

MattKellett 08-11-2010 10:57 AM

Now here's some great Ford racing from the past.

YouTube - ‪BSCC Crystal Palace 1964‬‎

It really was "game over" when the large capacity Galaxies arrived.

THE "Jimmy Clark"??? If so, this makes the video even more enjoyable...
