landscape irrigation experts..NETAFIM?

my landscape arch strongly recommended NETAFIM product to irrigate my new front yard. i have an existing sprinkler system, that was partially destroyed when the plumber excavated for my sewerline.

i want to re-use my sprinkler solenoids. i have kickass pressure..i need to step it down to 50psi..so can i simply install a pressure reducer, and run my drip line from there? do i need a filter?

anyone every use netafim before? what is standard home PSI?

i know some pelican has done this before..

50 psi is too much for drip line...you need a filter for the drip line.

If you are converting one zone to drip and want to save your existing control valve, install a Rain Bird PRF-100-RBY. It is a combination pressure regulator and filter assembly installed on the outbound side of the control valve. You may need to get a bigger valve box as well. Use the appropriate PVC fittings that transition to Netafim drip tubing. Tubing is designed to be installed/snaked close to plants with emitters either built in to the tubing or added separately. Drip zones here in the Southeast are primarily used in plant beds and run 45 to 60 minutes per watering cycle.
