That's pretty cool, especially to someone with 100 hrs in a 150 Cessna.

I know there is debate that the Spitfire was the best looking plane in WWII, but IMO, it is the P51.

Not to ruin anybody's enjoyment, but the 360 of the B-17 isn't the real Memphis Belle. The civil registration number N3703G is for the movie version of the Memphis Bell.

Warbird Depot - Bombers > Military Aircraft Restoration Corporation's Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress

The real Memphis Belle did not have a modern radio stack in the roof either. The Belle hasn't flown since it returned to the states in '46 when it went to Memphis (the city bought her for $350.00) where she rotted from years of neglect, looting and vandalisim until the USAF took her back for restoration in '05.

She is currently at Wright Patterson Air Musuem, Ohio.

I would love to take part in a restoration effort like this. The history would blow you away.

Doesn't look like a Malcom but the original birdcage type found on the B's and C's prior to the Malcom.
