I had that one. I used to get pneumonia a lot as a kid and my mom always gave me a dollar when I got a penicillan shot in the butt and didn't cry. I saved up for that poster that way. I was going to buy Kiss's Detroit Rock City, but got that poster instead. Those were the days.

However, my first real crush was Lindsay Wagner. I still think about her every time I drive past the signs for Ojai.

Please tell me those weren't your first crushes. You have to be about their age if not older.

I went to preschool with the little girl from the American Airlines commercial who asked for some orange juice for her teddy bear. Does that count?

I don't remember her name, but she was one of those famous actresses from the '40s & '50s. I used to get 35 cents weekly for awhile for doing chores and mowing the lawn. I'd usually walk a few miles to the local theater on Sundays for the kids matinée, where it cost 25 cents admission and I'd be able to buy two candy bars with the leftover 10 cents. We'd get to watch a movie, some cartoons, & maybe some shorts from the 3 stooges, Buck Rogers, etc. She was in a movie with a genie and she wore sort of a harem girl costume. I guess I was about 7 or 8, and I vividly remember how heated up I got looking at her. I can see her now in my mind's eye. I would have jumped on her in a second.
