Calvin & Hobbes Search Engine - by Bing

God how I miss that strip. :(

My son still has all the C&H books he had when he was younger. Bill Watterson has to go down as one of the greatest strip writers ever.

I think all men remember being a Calvin. I miss that strip.

My old Calvin and Hobbs books are now the favorites of my six-year old daughter. She giggles uncontrollably the entire time she's reading them. I love it.

When I was young, I didn't get the connection between his imagination and reality. I thought they where flipping between different instances, I still found them quite funny.

Now I find them HILARIOUS!!!

A few years back I bought "The Complete Calvin & Hobbes" 2 volume set...it was about $80.

Up with Far Side as the best comics ever. T-Rex in F-14s is still my favorite.

Any idea why that site isn't displaying the comics for me?

I am a little worried, however, that the popularity of this search engine will ultimately be it's demise if Andrew McMeel Universal (who owns the rights to Calvin & Hobbes) threatens legal action against me. Hopefully I can put ads for the books in the search results, allowing people to buy the books and it will be win-win for everyone, but I can only do that if AMU agrees to it. Update: Someone at AMU got in touch with me; a C&D was (is?) headed my way, but they seem open to finding a better solution, which is AWESOME. You may see some changes here in the next few days/week, but hopefully it will be in the best interest of everyone!

I loved that strip.

My favorites are the ones where Calvin's dad is trying to take his picture and Calvin keeps making faces. Priceless!
