6 is LAX.

3 is ASE.

and yes, recent, as in @ 3 days ago!

Flying overhead at FL 350 is not the way to see Aspen. You need to land there to get the real effect, from Red Table on down... :)

2.... no idea. Aruba?

4 .... terrain looks kinda like Colorado or Utah so I'm guessing Colorado springs.

5 ...... again, no idea but there's a river. Alba-kirky?

8 ..... no clue so I'm gonna say ...... I got nuthin.

OK, i'll give you two more and two hints..

2. Bermuda.. (Aruba, same thing)

4. is a big famous city in the southwest.

5. mid west, according to the 2009 Census Bureau, population was 454,731

8. is Rapid City, South Dakota. ( I know, right?)

4. Las Vegas.
5. Omaha.

Is The Strip visible in the Las Vegas photo?

yes. At the top where the two runways meet, then go to the right and you can see all the hotels lined up in a row. it almost parallels the east/west runway.
