Should I sue the bas%$#?
 

I took my 944 cab to a local upholstery shop for a new top. They were recommended by the local Porsche stealer. Well the problems started when they broke broke both main bows. They said they would weld them and they would be better than new. I agreed to let them go that route but after they had them welded and reinstalled they broke again. The parts are $1400 each! So they had the welded again and reinstalled the top and converted it from electric to manual (by simply loosing a bolt on each side). The owner of the shop want's me top accept the job and says that the broken bows were not his fault. When I went to inspect what they did I found that in addition to messing up the top they put a ding in my hood and broke the hinge for my console. Needless to say I'm angry and it looks like my only recourse is to sue for damages. What would you do in this situation? For a 20 year old car it is in excellent shape and for $1,600 I expected a professional top install and that my car would be handled better!
