The kid has been asking for milkshakes so I've come to the brain trust to find some different ways of making them, soft icecream or hard, vanilla icecream or flavored, how do you make yours? What do you add?
For the record my fave is choc with 1/4 of a bannana in the mix from DQ but want to try it at home - for the kid of course. ![]() Finn

Vanilla ice cream, 3 big scoops, milk to about 1/3 of the ice cream pile, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, and add chocolate syrup. Then add more chocolate syrup and blend till somewhat lumpy.

Vanilla icecream is the best starting point, and don't over mix (puts too much air in the shake).
Vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup 2% milk and mixed on the multimixer.

Vanilla ice cream(the amount depends on how much I'm making), malted milk(no measuring), a couple of Popsicles(flavor doesn't matter), milk(add until desired consistency).
This makes up the base product. You can then add flavored syrup and other items if you want.

chocolate ice cream (any brand will do), lots of Hershey chocolate syrup (the kind that comes in the old fashion can that you have to poke a hole in) and enough milk to make it the consistency you like....i like mine a little thin

vanilla ice cream. if in season fresh strawberries. dump them in the blender. scoop of malt powder. tiny bit of whole milk. get the blender going..start drizzling in milk until the entire mass starts to spin and mix. stop. eat it out of the blender jar with spoons and a loved one (for me, my WIFE).
sad if your loved ones are 20 cats...if thats the case put the shake in a glass to not look so pathetic.

Not for the kids but skip the milk and use Baileys Irish Cream.

I like to freeze a banana, milk, malt, Hershey's syrup, hit it with the Braun multimixer thing and in about 30 seconds you have a milkshake. Peel the banana, break it up and wrap with saran wrap overnight, I usually use the plastic wrap a few times, when I get on a banana shake kick. Reminds me, gotta put one in now.

I am really surprised no one hit it..
![]() Chose your flavor of ice cream Chose your fresh fruit, peanut butter, chocolate syrup etc Use you Whole Milk, Cream or even Baileys Use your Malted powder if ya like it.. But what YA ALL MISSED is putting a bit of ICE in the Mixer.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh well, Mother has comments about people like yourselves...which really are not fit for the general consumption of decent people.
