I was wondering... Fanbois are always crying for a new 914, 944, 928. What if in 1977-78 they discontinued the 911 and then revitalised a new version for 2011. What would it look like? Back then was the 911SC and the 930. I would think it would not look like the 996 or 997, more a retro 70's 911.

Thoughts?

Their website looks like one of the 3-letter intelligence agencies got hold of it. ;)

The corresponding break in production for the 911 would leave it a lesser car. It's longevity and evolution (not revolution) have it one of the best and most reliable cars on the planet.
