Aliens.

Lot of debate over them.

Supposed hoax.

Worked for me. And who would've thought those crazy Bosnians would have been ancient pyramid builders?

Damn, I drove right past there a couple of weeks ago while on family Eastern Europe touring holiday.

I even saw the directions to them but dismissed it as not worth stopping for (edited - after further research I appear to have been right)

Uh-oh. Sounds like you're in for an argument. Just ask ole JE about the voracity of information on Wikipedia.

Just search: Bosnia pyramids & national geographic, or Bosnia pyramids & Archeology . . . it is bogus.

Ian,

I agree 100% that it's bunk. I was just joking about the irony of your post, since the OP of this thread was railing on Wikipedia's unreliable info on a thread in PARF.

Nah....no argument......must be crap if it's even on Wikipedia, even if Wikipedia thinks it's crap.

O.k. nevermind then. Just like the great pyramids of Egypt, the Bosnian ones are covered with grass and trees.

Getting grass and trees to grow on anything in Egypt is hard enough.

OK, I understand. If the OP is so convinced that Wiki has errors, then he should make an effort & edit it. If he can supply factual changes/additions/contributions he can add its knowledge base. It is not hard. I have written several articles & edited or added to a number of others. Just sign up & have at it.

Of course, the majority of posters on PARF appear to have their own version of truth & history which wouldn't survive REAL scrutiny . . .

Ian

LOL when I went to that link and reading about it I was thinking, this has to be BS, I ain't buying any of it.
Anyone with a clue would realize right away it's BS.
But I also knew that if I posted that opinion, some of our more "fantasy-based" members would flame me for being "contrary and negative".

Turns out I'm wearing a big grin after reading the rest of the thread.

All I said was "interesting". You don't find it interesting people in Bosnia are mucking about with Pyramids, even if it is a hoax?

(just to set myself up for tabs abuse)
The Romans considered the Thracians/Macedonians to be great warriors, as Alexander and Spartacus could confirm.

26,000 y.o. is an long time ago.
Mabye we didn't evolve from monkeys quite so quickly as thought. Mabye signifigant things happened in the world before the recorded history that exists today.
